One of the major advantages of using artificial grass for your padel tennis court is that it can be used in all weather conditions. This means that your players can enjoy a consistent playing surface all year round. Our Padel-specific artificial grass is manufactured especially for padel tennis to be durable, and provide optimal performance.

TOP QUALITY GRASS FOR YOUR COURT

Our artificial grass is made from the highest quality materials, ensuring that it can withstand the wear and tear of constant use. It is also low maintenance, requiring only occasional brushing and cleaning to keep it looking like new.

All padel tennis artificial grass installations are completed with accompanying white lines in padel grass and glued with, sports-grade joining tape and glue joins. A silica sand infill is applied to padel artificial grass to give longevity and the required ball bounce.

How To Build The Perfect Padel Tennis Court

Laying The Groundworks

As with all our projects, ensuring that the foundations are level and suitable to lay the artificial grass onto is one of the most important part of the build.

The groundworks are typically laid using tarmac to guarantee a level and long lasting finish. This process can also be replicated and scaled if you need more than one court as part of your project.

For Padel Tennis, we pay even more attention and care to the levelling process to really make sure you have the perfect court ready to go from your very first game!

Installing The Fencing & Glass

Once the foundations are set we move onto creating the perimeter and installing the specialised fencing required for your new court. By this point we will know if we’re building a permanent or temporary, pop-up style, court which will decide what route we take.

Our process also includes installing the specialised glass and mesh steel fencing ensuring the court fits with Padel Tennis rules. The Lawn Tennis Association (LTA) defines a padel ball court as 20m long and 10m wide, but we can also build different sized variants as practice courts where needed.

We also make sure that your sub base is constructed in a manner which provides excellent drainage, opting for aggregates to overlay with tarmac ensures this. We can also use a full concrete slab for indoor or sheltered courts, where this is a more suited option.

Laying The Artificial Grass

This is the stage where we start to get excited, of course, it’s laying the artificial grass.  This is manufactured specifically for padel tennis meaning the design is tailored by using 12mm pile height with a texturised polyethylene monofilament which creates the perfect tight knit surface.

There are strict rules around the friction and bounce levels associated with your playing surface and we make sure we tick all these boxes when installing your court.

Once laid, we apply a sand infill which ensures the desired ball bounce. The grass we will be using will come in green blue and terracotta, complete with white lines.

Lighting The Court

Now the court is all set up and ready to play the final step, before our usual quality assurance inspection, is to install the lighting.

There are two main approaches for your court lighting which are again recommended to make sure this meets the wider specifications set by the LTA, but we can also factor in custom lighting as part of your bespoke job if required.

In most instances your new padel tennis court would have the lighting integrated on to the posts as part of the surrounding parameter fence or alternatively housed on poles just out side of the playing area.

All lighting used is designed and manufactured to British and European safety standards.

Padel Tennis All Year Round

Padel tennis is an increasingly popular sport – and with the growing demand for courts, many people are turning to artificial turf to meet their needs. Artificial turf for paddle tennis courts provides a durable playing surface that is suitable for all weather conditions, allowing for a consistent playing experience, even when courts are wet from rain or humidity. Artificial turf helps improve the game by providing a consistent bounce and ball speed, making it easier to track the ball and improve skill.

Not only does artificial turf provide a consistent playing experience, it is also easier to maintain than natural grass and requires less water and maintenance. Artificial turf is more resistant to wear and tear, making it a great choice for high-traffic courts. It is also environmentally friendly and helps conserve water, reducing the overall environmental impact of paddle tennis courts.

Padel Court Floor Material

Padel tennis players are always looking for the best court flooring material that can provide excellent performance and durability. Artificial grass is an ideal option for padel court flooring because it is extremely durable, low-maintenance, and long-lasting.

The grass is cushioned to reduce stress on players’ joints and feet, making it easier to move around the court. The material is designed to be slip-resistant, making it safer for players to move around the court.
