It’s practical, it’s safe and you can have fake grass for your children in your very own back garden.

When you’re looking for a safe area for your children to play, fake grass is a great solution. We’re excited to share a project we recently completed, installing fake grass around a climbing frame for the little ones.

We were approached by a family who wanted to create a safe area for their children to play outside. They had purchased a new climbing frame which was installed into a previously grassed area in the garden. However, with such a high structure, they were concerned about their kids falling off the sides and injuring themselves.

To address these concerns, we recommended our impact absorbing, 20mm shock pad layer to be installed. The shock pad is made from a recycled rubber which is weather resistant. Allowing your children to be safe all year round whilst exploring their imagination. This was fitted underneath the artificial grass and provides a cushioning layer to help prevent injuries when falling from height. We then fitted our luxury, 40mm pile height, Alderley fake grass option. This provided a dense, lush grass which enhanced the safety of the area even more, whilst still looking natural. It’s safe to say the whole family was pleased.
