Main Reason for AG

Mossy Lawn, Low Maintenance

Our shaded gardens tended to be more moss than grass… well at least that was the case before laying artificial grass.

Is your garden just constantly in the shade? Turns out the most north facing garden are in the shade the majority of the day, meaning that there is less natural light hitting your lawn. This can be harmful to your lawn in several ways. No sunlight means no photosynthesis, making it less likely for your plants and grass to grown. In addition, your lawn won’t dry out as quick. All these factors are the perfect conditions for moss to take over. It thrives in the shade and can ultimately, take over your grass without you realising.

For this family in Macclesfield, shad took over both their front and back garden. Leaving the family with only mossy areas to enjoy. No matter what they did, they just weren’t seeing improvements… that’s until they got in touch with us. We explained to the family that this was a common occurrence with our customers, and that the solution was simple… artificial grass.

The family chose our 25mm pile, Rode. This short piled, very neat artificial really compliment both gardens and gave the family their gardens back. Laying artificial grass in these shaded gardens created the look of natural grass in the gardens without the worry of moss taking over. Artificial grass is a plastic product and therefore doesn’t need any sunlight to survive and thrive. Now the family can be out in the garden all year round.
