The extreme dry heat of the summer to the colder, wetter months of winter got this family searching for their muddy lawn fix. 

In the Autumn of this year, we had a customer from Crewe contact us as they had problems with the lawn in their back garden. 

Over the dry summer the garden had begun to dry out. Every time the kids played on the grass, it would wear down more and more… leaving them with a bare muddy lawn. As the wetter weather started, the garden got muddier, until eventually the family were left with a mud bath for a lawn. Whenever they wanted to use the garden, they ended up tracking the mud over their decking and into the house. With the decking being a slippery trip hazard already, the mud was only making things worse, and it became unsafe for their children to use the garden.  

We advised the family to consider our artificial grass range. This is due to the poor ground conditions in the garden, making it very difficult for their natural lawn to recover. Installing our all weather, mud free artificial grass was the best solution. We installed our Arley, 30mm pile artificial turf onto a porous sub-base which meant the area would drain much better than their previous lawn. They now have use of the garden all year round and no longer trapse mud over the rest of the garden and into the house.
